Description
Sunbrella 45542-0000 Blox Slate is a woven, pattern of random blocks that have the look of a brick, or paved layout. The blocks are in Taupe, Charcoal, Stone Grey, Tan and Pewter Grey. The largest block measures approximately two and one quarter inches by two and one half inches. Sunbrella is a High Performance Indoor/Outdoor Upholstery Fabric available in a wide variety of solids, stripes, textures and decorative jacquards. Sunbrella is able to resist stains, mildew and fading, making it a great choice for patio and pool side furniture as well as indoor upholstery. This fabric is suitable for cornice boards, pillows, cushions, room dividers, headboards and furniture upholstery.

Railroaded fabrics are simply fabrics that have designs turned "sideways" on the roll. The process was developed to aid furniture manufacturers wishing to cut and sew covers on furniture without seams. Since most fabrics woven are approximately 54" wide, any furniture piece wider than 54" would require seaming two pieces of fabric together. Railroading solves this dilemma, now a cushion piece can be covered without seams no matter what the width. Railroaded fabric is very desirable by designers since they can be more creative. When using a railroaded product for drapery, be aware of the panel size in relation to the design.
