Amanda Blue Allure is a printed multipurpose fabric. Printed in France, this stunning large shell design contains more colors than most prints and it shows in the incredible detail within each shell. Some colors are minimal and used just to accent. Adding to this beautiful fabric is that it is printed on a luxurious 100% cotton sateen. Featured colors are Sky Blue, Navy Spice, Spa Blue, Light Taupe, Oyster and Federal Blue. To give you an idea of the scale, the typical shell measures 6 to 8 inches in height while the overall pattern repeat measures 26 inches vertical by 19 inches horizontal. Amanda can be used for many areas of your home including drapery fabric, throw pillow fabric, bedding applications, cornice board fabric, headboard fabric and upholstery fabric.

Railroaded fabrics are simply fabrics that have designs turned "sideways" on the roll. The process was developed to aid furniture manufacturers wishing to cut and sew covers on furniture without seams. Since most fabrics woven are approximately 54" wide, any furniture piece wider than 54" would require seaming two pieces of fabric together. Railroading solves this dilemma, now a cushion piece can be covered without seams no matter what the width. Railroaded fabric is very desirable by designers since they can be more creative. When using a railroaded product for drapery, be aware of the panel size in relation to the design.
