Myth and Medallion Seaglass 410772 from the P K Lifestyles History Retold III Collection is a printed upholstery fabric and drapery fabric. This ethnic inspired design is printed on a micro basketweave 100 % cotton fabric and contains the colors Leaf Green, Sand, Federal Blue and accents of Yellow against a light Spa Green background. To give you an idea of the scale, the dragon measures 12 inches in length while the overall pattern repeat is 27 inches horizontal by 25.25 inches vertical. Myth and Medallion can be used not only for drapery fabric and upholstery fabric, but also, top of the bed applications, throw pillow fabric and as headboard fabric.

Railroaded fabrics are simply fabrics that have designs turned "sideways" on the roll. The process was developed to aid furniture manufacturers wishing to cut and sew covers on furniture without seams. Since most fabrics woven are approximately 54" wide, any furniture piece wider than 54" would require seaming two pieces of fabric together. Railroading solves this dilemma, now a cushion piece can be covered without seams no matter what the width. Railroaded fabric is very desirable by designers since they can be more creative. When using a railroaded product for drapery, be aware of the panel size in relation to the design.
