Description
Francine Multi is a printed multipurpose fabric. This whimsical collection of butterflies, text and garden blooms is printed in France on a luxurious 100% cotton sateen. To give you an idea of the scale, the butterfly measures approximately two inches in width and height and the typical bloom measures just over six inches in height. The overall pattern repeat is 17.75 inches vertical by 18.125 inches horizontal. The colors in the print are Sun Yellow, Coral, Fern, Celery, Fern, Twig Brown and Cream with a background color of Light Cream. Francine can be used for drapery fabric, upholstery fabric, throw pillow fabric, top of the bed applications, cornice board fabric and as headboard fabric.

Railroaded fabrics are simply fabrics that have designs turned "sideways" on the roll. The process was developed to aid furniture manufacturers wishing to cut and sew covers on furniture without seams. Since most fabrics woven are approximately 54" wide, any furniture piece wider than 54" would require seaming two pieces of fabric together. Railroading solves this dilemma, now a cushion piece can be covered without seams no matter what the width. Railroaded fabric is very desirable by designers since they can be more creative. When using a railroaded product for drapery, be aware of the panel size in relation to the design.
