Description
Adrianne Copper is a jacquard woven upholstery fabric. This is a linen blended fabric to give that rich look in the ground with the colorful butterflies in flight. The colors are Teal, Copper and Mist Green, while the ground is a Natural Linen color. To give you an idea of the scale, the largest butterfly measures approximately six inches in width by four inches in height. The overall pattern repeat is just a little over 27 inches both horizontal and vertical. Besides upholstery fabric, Adrianne can be used for throw pillow fabric, top of the bed applications, cornice board fabric, or as headboard fabric. Railroaded fabrics are simply fabrics that have designs turned "sideways" on the roll. The process was developed to aid furniture manufacturers wishing to cut and sew covers on furniture without seams. Since most fabrics woven are approximately 54" wide, any furniture piece wider than 54" would require seaming two pieces of fabric together. Railroading solves this dilemma, now a cushion piece can be covered without seams no matter what the width. Railroaded fabric is very desirable by designers since they can be more creative. When using a railroaded product for drapery, be aware of the panel size in relation to the design.
