NEW MEXICO SPICE Stripe Chenille Upholstery Fabric

New Mexico Spice is a jacquard woven upholstery fabric of Southwestern style. This is so beautiful just to look at and think about how a design such as this was created. Inspired by Native American, Mexican, and Spanish Colonial influences we have Southwest designs that hold cultural and spiritual meaning. This fabric is true artwork. From the Desert Sunset colors to earthy tones and geometric shapes, New Mexico has it all. This fabric even takes on the appearance of being hand woven with the variety of yarns and textures utilized. For pattern information, this fabric has a vertical repeat of just over 26 inches with a horizontal repeat of 14 inches. There is a nice bulk to this fabric that is woven with novelty yarns, the areas in this fabric where you see the color fade in and out, as well as very soft chenille yarns that add the bulk. In addition to upholstery fabric other ideas for New Mexico include using this fabric for throw pillows, top of the bed applications, and as headboard fabric. You can get very creative with this fabric for sure, and breathe character into any space.
