Description
Krabi Pistachio is a printed drapery and upholstery fabric. The mini coral design is colored in a Misty Green coloration on a 100% cotton fabric. For extra texture, a slub yarn was used in weaving the print cloth adding more character to this textile. This fabric was inspired by the coral reefs of Krabi, Thailand, hence the name. This design is so versatile in working with other designs, or is perfectly fine on its own. The pattern repeat measures 6.25 inches vertical by 6.75 inches horizontal. Krabi can be used not only for drapery, curtain and upholstery fabric, but also for throw pillow fabric, cornice board fabric, dining room chair fabric, top of the bed applications and as headboard fabric.

Railroaded fabrics are simply fabrics that have designs turned "sideways" on the roll. The process was developed to aid furniture manufacturers wishing to cut and sew covers on furniture without seams. Since most fabrics woven are approximately 54" wide, any furniture piece wider than 54" would require seaming two pieces of fabric together. Railroading solves this dilemma, now a cushion piece can be covered without seams no matter what the width. Railroaded fabric is very desirable by designers since they can be more creative. When using a railroaded product for drapery, be aware of the panel size in relation to the design.
