Freeman Island Blue is a high performance polyester printed indoor/outdoor drapery and upholstery fabric with a special story to its creation. This large Blue and White stripe design has a repeat of 12.5 inches vertical. Please take note that this is a vertical stripe that is printed with the stripes running across the roll and not up the roll. This stripe was made by special request by many who want this cabana style stripe to be printed in this direction to make draperies that do indeed have the stripe running from left to right instead of up and down. It takes on a completely different look from the traditional way most stripes are used in drapery. The dyes used to print this fabric are specifically made to withstand the harsh outdoor environment as well as to offer great ultra violet ray protection. In addition, Freeman is treated with a water repellant finish to resist mildew. To spot clean use a mild detergent and water and a soft cloth to remove stains. If necessary, bleach can be used if diluted 5 parts water to one part bleach. If your project needs are indoors, this can also be used for indoor drapery and curtain fabric, sofa, chair and couch upholstery fabric, large throw pillow fabric, cornice board fabric, top of the bed applications and as headboard fabric.
