Description
Leicester 100 Multi from Covington is a printed drapery and upholstery fabric. This stunning fabric is printed with the colors Salmon, Coral, Fresh Lime, Leaf, Federal Blue and Cocoa vines on an Eggshell background. The fabric this is printed on is a 100% cotton fabric woven with very fine slub yarns for added texture. There is a nice bulk to the fabric yet this still remains very soft and drapable. The repeat of the design measures 24.75 inched vertical by 27.25 inches horizontal. Leicester can be used for not only drapery, curtain and upholstery fabric, but also for cornice board fabric, throw pillow fabric, top of the bed applications, and as headboard fabric.

Railroaded fabrics are simply fabrics that have designs turned "sideways" on the roll. The process was developed to aid furniture manufacturers wishing to cut and sew covers on furniture without seams. Since most fabrics woven are approximately 54" wide, any furniture piece wider than 54" would require seaming two pieces of fabric together. Railroading solves this dilemma, now a cushion piece can be covered without seams no matter what the width. Railroaded fabric is very desirable by designers since they can be more creative. When using a railroaded product for drapery, be aware of the panel size in relation to the design.
