Description
Colorball Multi is a quilted multipurpose fabric. First, the linen blended fabric is printed with colorful circles, then quilted in a diamond pattern. This gives this fabric a nice lofted and plush hand. The diamond size is just under three inches in height and width, while the overall pattern repeat measures 16.5 inches vertical by 17 inches horizontal. Colors contained in this design are Passion Red, Melon, Taupe, Fern, Sky Blue, and Honey Gold. Colorball can be used for light upholstery fabric use only with additional applications being, throw pillow fabric, cornice board fabric, top of the bed applications, and as headboard fabric.

Railroaded fabrics are simply fabrics that have designs turned "sideways" on the roll. The process was developed to aid furniture manufacturers wishing to cut and sew covers on furniture without seams. Since most fabrics woven are approximately 54" wide, any furniture piece wider than 54" would require seaming two pieces of fabric together. Railroading solves this dilemma, now a cushion piece can be covered without seams no matter what the width. Railroaded fabric is very desirable by designers since they can be more creative. When using a railroaded product for drapery, be aware of the panel size in relation to the design.
