Description
Willow Wood Mist 409310 from the P K Lifestyles Cultural Exchange III Collection is a printed multipurpose drapery and upholstery fabric. This flowing leaf and vine design is colored in Dark Taupe, Cocoa Brown and Creme with a background color of Misty Blue. The print cloth is made in yarns of polyester and rayon and the rayon yarns create a visual texture to the background with small dashes of white running across and up the fabric. Willow Wood has a repeat of 27 inches both vertical and horizontal. This uniquely printed cloth can be used for drapery fabric, upholstery fabric, cushions, bedding, headboards or cornice boards.

Railroaded fabrics are simply fabrics that have designs turned "sideways" on the roll. The process was developed to aid furniture manufacturers wishing to cut and sew covers on furniture without seams. Since most fabrics woven are approximately 54" wide, any furniture piece wider than 54" would require seaming two pieces of fabric together. Railroading solves this dilemma, now a cushion piece can be covered without seams no matter what the width. Railroaded fabric is very desirable by designers since they can be more creative. When using a railroaded product for drapery, be aware of the panel size in relation to the design.
